I have been most happy, I think, in the past 20 years in my life.
I had my 70th birthday in May and everyone was saying, what are you going to do?
Are you going to do a big gig or are you going to have a big party?
And I looked at all my brothers and sisters and their partners and all my kids and their partners and all the grandkids and we went out for a weekend to a hotel and we were all swimming and in, you know, whatever and having dinner and, you know, I was so happy that night that I was 70.
It was like,
Well, a bit scared of getting older, but, you know.
I met Mike Stoller in name dropping there in Los Angeles last year, and he's 93 now.
And he said, you only begin to, he rang me for my birthday, you only begin to learn to live at 70.
to bring everything that you've learned together and actually use it, is what he said in the 70s.
So there you go.
Life begins.
It's the new 43, you know.
