We actually just awarded our scholarship about two weeks ago for the Women in the Trades and we offer four times a year a $1,500 scholarship to help women further their training and education in the trades.
It's such a good living.
You end up with a license or you can fix things.
You can pretty much assure that you're always going to have a job and we find that at
of the licensed plumbers in the United States, only 1.5% of them are women.
And so we want to encourage diversity across the board, and that's one of the ways that we do that.
And we also, on our apprenticeship programs, we have a number of franchisees who will apprentice people within their organization, whether it's for Rainbow, they have a very robust apprenticeship program that
can take somebody who's just out of high school and teach them how to be a project manager within the world of restoration and get them their certifications.
And it's a very good living for them.
It allows them to grow and learn and have a good living for growing a family.
We're really proud of that.
I will tell you, we take franchising very seriously.
I know I've said it a couple times about our mission statement to teach our principles and systems.
We do that so people will live happier, more successful lives.
And for us, it's a calling.
And the reason that you got that call and we put out a blog is because we want to share that with the world.
And I tell people I'm living proof that franchising is the great American dream.
It's the great Canadian dream.
It's the great European dream because franchising
If it can take somebody who never grew up in any kind of business and didn't understand business and teach them how to be a business person and a successful one and create wealth for them, there's really very few things that are as cool as that in business.
