And it was, to be honest, it was fairly tame.
I think more, because the other thing that was happening on schoolies, which I quite enjoy, well, I didn't enjoy, obviously, on a moral level, but I found it fascinating.
Is toolies were still there.
I mean, obviously.
I did have to be like, have you seen any toolies besides us?
Which was quite an humiliating thing to say.
Well, a couple of people, I would talk to a bunch of boys and they'd be like, oh, we're with a toolie.
And they'd like out one of their friends with a toolie.
But often what they meant by that was they'd left in year 10 and gone and got a trade and then they were coming to schoolies, which I think is kind of fine.
Well, no, I think they meant, like, he'd left in school so he shouldn't be coming on the big holiday.
Right.
But he was still their age.
He was still their age, so that was fine.
But then a lot of the girls were saying they'd be talking to men and then they'd be like, oh, yeah, I'm 20.
Like, the guy would say I'm 25 or something.
It's predatory, don't you think?
No, look, I don't think that they're, I think they're trying to blend, but I also think like, and this is probably me getting old, when you look at a young 18-year-old girl, they look like children still to me.
That was the thing that I found like probably the most horrifying for myself is that all the boys and all the girls looked like kids still.
And they were all dressed very, they also were dressed very revealing, which is like fine, but I was like, oh, like you just look like babies.
