His death signals another changing of the guard away from that.

That's a huge, huge change.

But it augurs a broader change where we're no longer seeing advocacy for Israel as a bipartisan cause in Washington.

Now, the Democratic Party is rapidly shifting away from supporting Israel.

And surprisingly to many in Israel and probably to a lot of Israeli officials, many in the Republican Party are tacking hard

away from that position that Lindsey Graham had maintained for generations.

There used to be a major group in Washington that saw themselves as advocating for Israeli interests, not just because they were paid by AIPAC or whatever, but because they legitimately, genuinely saw Israel as, as I said, an extension of U.S.

interests in the Middle East and a lodestar for American mentality and morality.

that whole attitude is disappearing.

And Lindsey Graham's death is a major part of that.

Well, it's a couple of things that probably wouldn't be done even if he did have all of the power and all of the support of Washington and its formidable military.

It would be trouncing Hezbollah, the Iran-backed group in Lebanon, north of Israel.

It would be seeing regime change in Tehran, which, I mean, to see that between now and late October when those Israeli elections are supposed to happen.

I just don't see that as a real possibility.

But to be able to walk out into the Rose Garden hand in hand with President Trump and to show the Israeli people, once again, something that he loves to boast about and something that he has constantly raised to the Israeli voting public as one of his great virtues, as one of his big vote for me features, is I am the Trump whisperer.

I am the Washington whisperer.

Now, these elections in Israel are really important to Netanyahu, but the elections here in the United States are going to be very important to Trump.

And in many ways, they're working at odds against each other because Netanyahu is going to be asking for more permission to renew this fight with Iran, with Hezbollah, straight of Hormuz be damned.

And President Trump is going to be—well, he says he wants to forbid Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon, and that is his main objective with this conflict.
