I think we started this podcast talking about tax time.
But really, I think the point of this is that it's not just about tax time.
It's about staying on top of this regularly.
you know, obviously you'll then be prepared for tax time, but the importance and why, which is Reese's keyword here, which is applicability.
Like, why would I do this?
Right.
Aside from just taxes.
I think Tim gave a good example of like the tax considerations.
If you're not on top of this, like accidentally reporting a deposit as revenue and paying taxes a year in advance, like before you needed to, that's like a tax related reason.
So this is like one of those three reasons Tim brought this up.
Like, why would I stay on top of this?
But the other two, I think he's already raised is,
getting an actual accurate view of your profitability as the year is progressing.
So you know whether your business is actually making money, not just has collected money, right?
And then the second thing is WIP is not just like a report you look at at the end of the month.
it is to give you a sense of whether you need to do to create an invoice basically, right?
Like whether you're, whether you have a problem with cashflow right now, whether you have, whether you are under optimizing your cashflow.
