I totally agree with that.

Uh it's having a global impact.

There are lots of people involved.

There is a danger that this begins to look a little bit like Europe in nineteen twelve, nineteen thirteen, when the alliances were beginning to form

You know, and were there to kind of protect the failing Habsburg Empire.

What then became the failing Russian Empire, you know, the still assertive British Empire and the very assertive German Empire.

So you've got all these empires, and they're dropping for positions.

Some of them are on the way up, some of them are on the way down, and they have these alliances that at the end of the day force them into things that they hadn't quite um foreseen.

And there's this wonderful but chilling quote.

which is that Kaiser Willem II, who of course, you know, w led Germany into this w disastrous First World War, and uh d the King George of Britain and uh Tsar Nicholas are all sitting, you know, they're talking to each other at some event.

And they say none of this would happen if Granny was still alive.

And Granny was of course Queen Victoria.

And there is no granny at the moment.

You know, we really don't have a granny.

The United Nations has gone missing in action, and I know we're gonna have a new Secretary General.

There's no daddy.

Well, there are a few uh uh people vying for daddy, you know, um, or for granddad.

But there are no honest brokers, right?

Who's going to be the honest broker sorting out Israel and and and Gaza?
