You know, uh civilians, uh mostly civilians killed in these airstrikes.
That's a lot.
I mean it's not a lot compared to the previous years of the war after October the seventh, but it's still a lot.
Exactly.
So this is you know, this is all terrible.
And we've all taken our eyes off that ball, partly because the Israelis won't allow us into Gaza, although we keep asking.
Partly because there's another war going on uh in an another part of the Middle East.
Then of course we've got the Ukraine war.
So there are all these wars bubbling away.
In which America has set itself out to be the great arbitrator and has singularly failed to do so.
Remember Ukraine, I'll solve this in twenty four hours.
Well that was, you know, many, many lots of twenty four hours ago.
So and what do we do?
Our eyes glaze over, we move on to the next thing.
And um but this is you know, this is dangerous.
I mean there's a we're in a dangerous moment where we're all slipping, slithering towards, you know, a more and more escalated, you know, con confrontation and you're beginning to see
the Gulf war against Iran and the uh Russia war against Ukraine merging, uh not entirely and and structurally and coherently, but in there is some crossover moments which are
kind of alarming.
So at some stage, you know, America, where you want to say, please, if you still have the will, step up to the plate.
