I really appreciate all the words of affirmation and the kind messages that I've received and the encouragement from people obviously in GB, but America and other countries as well.
It's been really nice.
And I think for GB, it's been kind of a long time coming.
And so...
Look, I'd be remiss if I didn't applaud.
My coaching staff is just absolutely phenomenal.
I'm blessed by them.
My right hand, literally and figuratively, Alex Pearson Jones, better known as Peach.
Will Brown, of course, Eddie Nelson and Jamie Laidlaw both threw their hands in the pile and helped as assistants as well.
So our staff was just rock solid the entire week.
And look, I've also got, and I say this often, so I know I sound like a
attitude, their consistency, their effort, their preparation, and then on game day, their execution.
And so I really think that this, they exemplified the word team more than any other team that I've been a part of.
And this was my 26th world championships.
And so, you know, from breaking bread, from breaking bread together, from sitting in the sauna with one another, to giving rides to each other, to being there at every single session, even in the case of Ray Boring,
And Mo Salamon, the C and the B sessions, they came and cheered on their fellow teammates and countrymen.
In every essence of the word, it was a team rather than just a collection of outstanding individuals.
And I don't think that can be overstated.
And yeah, I'm just happy to be a part of it.
