I don't necessarily have a problem with it, with what Austin did there in terms of, you know, scratching his third and making it hard for Chunchia fan, because like you said, you know, he's got Sheffield coming and so forth.

And that's, it's kind of cheeky, you know, kind of way of doing it.

And I don't necessarily have a problem with that.

What I do have a problem with, and we're going to get, what we're going to get to is in the 83s where you had the Frenchman Ducrette, who clearly,

sustained an injury or something only open to the tune of 75 kilos and then scratched his second and his third and so that i think is poor sportsmanship i have a problem with that i was really disappointed and upset that the french coaching staff allowed that to happen um because here's a lifter who's respectfully not really in the mix for the podium and now you are really creating

a performance disadvantage for those who are vying for the podium.

And when we flip that around, and I'm not saying this to pat myself on the back, but I'm just giving you as an example, when Jern sustained an injury, and again, I mean, this will kind of, can we transition into the 83s?

Transitioning into the 83s, you know, when Jern sustained an injury on his squat, on his third squat, and he only made one bench,

missed a second i went ahead and submitted an attempt for his third um because you know what number one it's the right thing to do because we have a very short flight of only eight lifters and that and we've got a formula one pit crew out there changing weights and rack heights for everybody so things are moving very very quickly and furthermore and arguably more importantly aside from sportsmanship is i've got another gb athlete in the flight to the tune of ade omisakin

And as much as I'm coaching Jerns, I'm also cheering for Ade and I want his performance.

I want him to have every advantage that he could possibly have.

So by putting in a third attempt for Jerns and letting the clock run out, that's going to go ahead and give Ade.

the full rest time or a compliment of rest that he's used to it.

So that's, I really was disappointed that the French allowed that to happen.

So that's kind of a stark contrast there.

And then, you know, look, Joe scratched his last, Borenstein scratched his last bench, but that was because he was the last bencher.

Right.

So that's fine.
