You know, I've been in situations where I've had to scratch an attempt before, and I've actually, you know, taken the temperature of the room and kind of asked, you know, I think the understanding is if you're in a larger flight, when I say larger flight, a group of, you know, 10, 12 plus lifters, you kind of walk in the back and say, hey, guys, I'm going to scratch my attempt.

Is it OK if I scratch or would you all like the rest?

And most of them will probably say, yeah, just scratch it.

No big deal.

But when you're in a flight with only eight lifters and you're competing on this stage at this level and it's going this fast, you really ought to put an attempt in and just let it go.

Um, I, I think that that's good sportsmanship and, and quote unquote doing the right thing.

And so I was disappointed.
