I never know this part.
Coming out, it shouldn't be harder than a highway in the night.
Don't stop believing.
Hold on to the feeling.
Straight like leaving the world.
You sing it.
Don't stop.
Now I'm of the opinion that writing songs is one of the blurriest things in the world.
Because you can show up with a Bible and a heart and an instrument and still somehow, songwriters have no idea really how songs get written.
Because if we did, they'd all be great.
So I was thinking about this conference and I was like, surely some other artist who's a Christian has tried to write a song
about blurry topics.
And lo and behold, Mr. Larry Norman wrote a song back in the 70s.
He's an unidentified flying object.
You will see him in the air.
He's an unidentified flying object You will drop your hands instead You will be afraid to tell your neighbors They might think that it's not true When you open up the morning paper You will know they've seen it too
He will come back like he promised Where the price already paid He will gather up his followers And take them all away He's an unidentified flying object He will come and split the sky He is an unidentified flying object I must leave him to die
He's an unidentified flying object He will come to take you home He's an unidentified flying object He will roll away your stone
So I'm going to share a song, and then I'll talk about it a little bit.
But this song was on the last album I made.
