I got a, I got the scholarship that my parents really felt was fair.

I got a coach who, you know, wants people who are just oozing with, with intensity and enthusiasm to go reach their goals.

And I got a school that I grew up hearing fairy tales about and,

So what drew me in was just that energy that Tom brands carried in his hyper focus on his goals and our goals as a student athletes.

And I mean, he truly throughout my years for better, for worse, he held us accountable to every extent he could to reach our goals.

And that's something that I look back on with great, great enjoyment is knowing that I had somebody who, whether I wanted to hear it or not, he made sure that,

I was on the right track to the best of his ability.

And, you know, when you're motivated and you have a coach who's motivated for you and is willing to, you know, sometimes drag you by the ear, kicking and screaming and other times chase you down and tell you, whoa, slow down.

You need to take a break.

You know, you got a good opportunity.

This is the easiest question for me to answer and pins by far, not even close by a long shot.

There is nothing in my personal opinion that is more satisfying than running out on the mat, taking somebody down, whipping them over and freaking having that having that ref slap the mat.

That is the ultimate.

There's six points.

And, you know, I always kind of – I was motivated by very personal goals, but I also appreciated that I do my job that helps the team win.

And so for me, it was kind of dual purpose of –

well, if I can get a pin, I'm doing the best I can for the team.

To my detriment, it's probably why I have a heck of a lot more major decisions than I do tech falls.

Because when you're out there ripping, trying to pin somebody, instead of just running up the scoreboard, sometimes you're a couple points away from the tech fall because you were doing everything in your absolute power to get that guy turned over and

you'd be surprised how well some people could, could fight to their belly or fight off their back or allow you to score points without giving you any opportunities to pin them.
