I want to see guys play.
The only way you can see it, I don't know how to make a conclusion other than we haven't seen him play.
Again, if they believe of all the information they get that he's their best โ again, because they're really desperate to get a quarterback, eventually a long-term quarterback, they'd be in a position to just push that pick through and say, okay, let's try him.
It could be very detrimental, though.
It could be.
Because if you waste a number one pick again and then you continue to spin your โ you have to be โ I don't know how you're 100% certain.
They made a proper choice.
They're doing fine.
They made a proper choice.
There's choices you can make every year.
But also, if you continue to chase this and keep missing, now you're hurting the rest of your team because you're wasting high leverage, first-round value.
So if you don't do it, you're still going to draft a quarterback in one of those rounds, right?
See, if that doesn't happen, I'm not doing it.
I'm waiting.
Yeah, but if you have a guy in the fourth or fifth round and you make it sound like they're never going to get a realistic chance or all these teams passed on them, sometimes you just don't know.
I just know they have to solve it.
However they solve it will determine what they can do with other parts of their roster.
That's what makes this all so intriguing.
Can you imagine the buildup on April 23rd when the Steelers at 21 are at the pick, and all of a sudden it comes in, and 700,000 people outside of Accresure Stadium, wherever it's going to be, they're all thinking...
A whole bunch of stuff.
