So a lot of it's about that.
The other thing that you can do is if I think you can switch a little bit more.
And live with some of Shay's.
The biggest thing for me is Shay can score.
He can't score and assist.
You can't live with both of these things.
You cannot survive with Shay having 15 assists like he did the last game and 30 points.
You're never going to survive that.
So you've got to be able to choose.
I would always choose to make Shay a scorer.
is just like, yeah, look, if he's going to go for 45, that's fine.
We can hold the rest of that offense low enough to where we will surpass them.
I also think that a lot of it is stunting on drives.
Don't commit hard.
If you're not going to double him at the level of the screen, when he gets downhill, stunt hard with both guys bracketing, but make sure they know they have to immediately turn and recover.
He will make the read to the kickout,
But I think you can kind of do that.
It gets a lot more complicated with the second unit, honestly, because when it's AJ Mitchell getting downhill versus their drop coverage, that's tough.
But I think their five-out switching strategy could be a lot better.
This is one where this five-out small ball that they're running right now could really help, especially if the Thunder go back to what they did in the last game, which was caused by the fact that they didn't have AJ Mitchell in part.
