So that I think is the thing that I try and spend as much of my time doing, both because I think it gives the most value to the company in terms of enabling the engineering team, but also selfishly, I have the most fun working on those kinds of things as well.
So those two things.
Yeah, this this kind of scares me with how quickly folks are adopting AI and exposing AI, the ways they're exposing AI.
So a little bit of background.
So one of the worst kinds of vulnerabilities is what's called a remote code execution or RCE.
I think about CI systems, right?
CI if you think about CI systems, they effectively provide users with environments that contain certain tools, have certain kinds of access.
Access and they run whatever code they want in them, right?
And so folks jokingly refer to CI as sort of RCE as a service, right?
Like GitHub Actions, what is it?
It's RCE as a service.
They are literally executing my code as a service, right?
The reason this matters and the parallel to AI is that prompts are sort of the new code.
It is a set of instructions that describes something that, you know.
The agent should do, and the LLMs effectively execute them like instructions and use the tools you've provided to them with the access that they have to accomplish the task.
So these agents are increasingly getting connected to sensitive data sets and being handed increasingly powerful tools.
Why?
Because you can do so much more with more data connected to it, more tools available.
