So CEOs um are often obliged to make public statements about what their company is doing or you know, something that's happening within the company.

Um and on the one hand, in order for them to be able to fulfill that role, uh they should probably have to be transparent and honest and you know, not tell outright whoppers.

Um but on the other hand, uh they're also under some kind of obligation, presumably in order for the company to keep functioning, not to leak company secrets and maybe there's also some kind of oblig it's a public company, maybe there's some kind of obligation to the shareholders or the board or w or

what have you.

And so you often get this sense you you get this sense that they're being like asked to do two self-contradictory things and then what comes out of their mouth like serves neither of those ends.

But it on the one hand it's kind of like it seems like hard in some of these cases to say, oh no, their obligation is clearly to this and not to that.

It seems like they still kind of have an obligation to both.
