Yeah, one thing that strikes me about these examples is they seem to be connected to promising in some way.

So like, you know, you promise something and you're promising something specific, but there could be all these like maybe just logical consequences, but also just sort of causal downstream consequences you know, further commitments you take on just from the initial promise.

And some of those downstream commitments could be not to say something

That you uh believe to be true.

And it's hard to sort of have all those commitments in your mind when you make the initial promise.

And especially once you got more than one promise, oh now you're really in trouble.
