He's on a rookie contract for at least one more year.
But what we know about contract structures is that you can really stretch that out if you sign someone to an extension to where they won't have to have a huge, huge cap hit right away if you're coming off of your rookie deal.
So it, you know, that we talk about as being four years, but you can really kind of make it six of having uh low cap hits.
You would love that to be Kyler or if.
To be JJ McCarthy.
You would love if you had someone who's 23 years old that could be here until they're 33 or older as your starting quarterback.
And then, unlike so many years in the past, you could just center your focus on building the rest of the roster with this guy, knowing who your quarterback is.
Because even with Kirk Cousins, every year we went into after 2019, every year we went into the offseason.
