Men would always lie to make themselves, hey, I'm a better member of the tribe.
I bench press more.
I do this.
That's why guys still do that to this day.
My 40 time, you know, the Al Bundy, I ran for this many touchdowns, right?
Right.
is, hey, we want to be a valued member of the tribe, whereas the females look at to save face or to not hurt people's feelings, because once again, they want to keep that tribe together, is we've always been good at telling lies and bad at determining what lies are.
And the best way...
the best way we lie is through a mission.
You know, the analogy I like to give is it's a dog on a leash or off a leash.
When the dog is off the leash, you have no control over it.
And that's like when people tell an open-ended story, they can take you like your buddy, they can take you wherever they want to take you and they can spin the yarn.
But when you put that dog on a leash and you ask it yes or no questions, it makes it a little bit more difficult.
Okay.
What I mean by that is if I ask you a yes or no question,
Typically, I get a yes or no answer, I should, and I should get it in a timely fashion.
So we can talk, and you see all these TikTok videos about how you determine if somebody's telling you a lie.
Make it a little bit easier for yourself.
Did I ask you a yes or no question?
Did you give me a yes or no answer?
