We thought JV brought a knowledge of what it takes to be a winning team, how to build a championship team.
We liked the fact that he had been part of the transformation, if you go back from BAR, through Honda, through Braun, through Mercedes.
Even the early days of Mercedes weren't that great, from what I understand.
You maybe think of him coming in from a World Championship team that had always been top notch, but he's seen transformation.
I think the other piece that we liked in him was
I think he has an appreciation for the information technology space.
And I think he's probably first team principal that has a computing degree in his quiver.
I mean, a lot of mechanical engineers.
I mean, Toto may be more from the finance side.
But we like the fact that JV had that in him and a sense of how to use some of those tools and where those tools might be going.

And once in a while I use it, but the folks here are way beyond my knowledge these days.
I think there were maybe two elements.
I mean, one was that some of the basic processes and systems that, I mean, you know, we're still dealing with actually, and I'll come back to that in a second, but

And at the beginning, the team couldn't tell me what a car cost.
So it's hard to make decisions about do you build this component, that component, because you try to figure out what does it cost, what's the benefit on the track, and maybe what's the financial payoff.
