They will have to qualify or start their qualification in 24 months.
But what kind of progress do they make as a program?

You could justifiably make an argument that really Canada, given the way that they actually did the tournament, can feel bad.

So they're going to need the infrastructure.
And they're going to need an increasingly competitive team.
This is not just a, hey, we've made the round of 16 and now we can continue to push for that.
That bar has to continually be challenged and raised at an infrastructure level, at a development and competitive side level, because those kids who want to wear that Canadian jersey for both the men's and the women's, they're coming.
