It's hard.
It's really hard and and when you've never gone through it yourself, it's hard to kinda resonate with them.
But now I feel like uh when guys get hurt like Zach did here now I I I can resonate with him in a different way and I can talk to him and we can understand each other.
So it's it did come something good out of it but but for sure very frustrating and a very long process that um I'd like to not go through

Yeah, I uh exactly you gotta start there.
We had we had a good decor last year, but I think we're I think we're different this year.
I think we're a bit more mobile, uh, for sure, and we're built uh a little bit different for many reasons, but uh I think the number one thing is we can move the puck and and it seems like w every pair, like you look at that, w we play a game five in Dallas, uh you know, a clinging game and the
number one D man in Ice time on our team was just above twenty.
Like that's a huge strength to have.
Like we have three pairs that can all play against anybody with anybody and and do it really well.
So that's the biggest strength I think we have right now is our depth on our decor and and everybody chipping in and everybody playing well.
I think we're certainly getting there for sure.
There's been some ups and downs throughout the year, but um I think the last I mean last game we we may have let in a couple more than we maybe wanted to, but um the games prior to that I thought we played pretty good defense.
I think our uh we're giving our goalies a chance to save some pucks and and not giving up those high, high danger chances and that's always the focus, right?
Like you can't uh can't get two results based in it either.
of those things like sometimes the decoy will have a bad night, some nights the the goal will have a bad night and it's just a matter of what it is, right?
So trying to do the right things out there, make sure that um we do the right things is in terms of limiting their opportunities and their high, high danger opportunities is is something that I think has been
I think there's been uh every single guy in the lineup has brought that extra couple percent that you need, right, to to fill that void.
