Um but it was definitely a a moment that um you know I was really excited for.
Yeah, I mean um obviously in Anaheim
It was uh just a kind of a different situation there, a weird one just obviously when I got drafted there they were, you know, winning Pacific Division champions and and going to the playoffs every year and then kinda after soon right after that, after I got drafted, it seemed like they were kind of in that rebuilding um era.
So it was tough when you was get a part of a team and then, you know, trying to win games and stuff, it's a little difficult.
And um definitely a challenge.
It's been a ch it was it was a challenge for us there in Anaheim for a bit, but um
Thought, you know, move on, try to find a an opportunity elsewhere.
Didn't really work out in Boston at all and then
And then now just obviously being here I'm just I'm just playing hockey to know the way that I know I can.
Um the way I got drafted to be and um whether the opportunity arises to gain more ice time then you know I'll be ready for it.
But um I'm just kinda shift by shift, day by day, just trying to, you know, work as hard as I can and and be the best that I can be.
So I've joked for years of
in your journey to make it where you got to.
Oh, absolutely.
I mean they're the only reason I'm I'm here today.
Um whether it was mental, um helping me mentally or physically, it was it was um
It it was everything to me growing up.
Uh my mom obviously driving me hours to practice games and my dad also driving me hours practicing games.
She coached me when I was a kid too.
So um and then obviously now being pro, I've I've learned to kind of listen to them more on the mental side of it.
