I can't say that enough.
Your thumb is absolutely critical to your arm health.
And so when your thumb is protected, when my thumb is in a better spot, I can throw all the pitches from the first pitch to the last pitch and
strength to execute pitches.
And so I feel like I'm going to have good health from that front going forward in terms of my hand.
You're never out of the woods.

But because this is such a systemic injury for me, having this thumb problem be lasting for so long, for really three years now, this is the first time I'm kind of getting out of it.
So that's the good.
What, if anything, does having the best record in the major leagues at the end of July mean to nothing?

Uh, you know, d when I was sitting there on the IL it was killing me because, you know, y you can see this team was coming together, te offense is really starting to play and um, you know, just wanting to get out there and just p you know, be myself and go out there and make starts to help this team win.
Um, you know pit pitchers can help energize a team.
Uh we see it when we get great starts out of the other starters as well.
