Like we wanna keep pitching.

So I th you know starters want to do it and obviously relievers would want uh starting pitchers they they like it when the starters pitch deep in a game.

You know, th trust me, they like doing their jobs, they like pitching, but uh you know, th when they're having to pitch all these times and you know, they're constantly getting up and down, sent out, uh, because of you know, the amount of innings they have to cover, i you know, it it's what helps it it's part of the problem of the pitching injuries.

You know, why there's so many pitching injuries in

the game is because we're you know, because the stars not pitching deeper into the game anymore.

Um so there's a lot of benefits that would happen if we actually make starting pitching, you know, more prominent and actually mandate rules

you know the and you gotta do other things to help us out.

You know, there's b every rule change that's been coming on for the past five years has been kind of a net negative towards, you know, a pitcher pitching deep into a ball game.

So we you know, uh you know, while the C V A's coming in, like hey, we need to make sure that we get starters pitching uh that that that's a huge focal point that I think we're miss that's a blind spot to everybody here.

Um because there would be so much benefit to the game, uh, to have starters pitching deep into games again.

Yeah, I you know, it's been great to be a teammate with him.

You know, you you you see his career from afar and then you get then you get to be teammates with him, then you're watching him, then you you you're facing the same hitters and you see like, okay, now I see what you're doing.

Uh but watch him grow from even from April.

April to now, he's a much better pitcher than he is.

And that you know, that's when one of the conversations I have with him is that you know, everybody thinks by the time you're you're twenty nine thirty you're a finished product.

Uh you know, I say no, no, no, no you're

You're just getting started.

Like you have so many more levels to go through.

You know, for myself, like I got better from years you know, between like you know, year eight, year ten, year twelve, like there's still major kind of increases you can add to your game and you know for him I feel like he's he's right in that you know kind of window of where he's gonna continue to get better and more and get more feel of the ball and understand how to pitch better.
