It was just...

No regulation.

Everything was awful.

And so our relationship was just getting worse and worse and worse.

And I, it was about, well, January 12th was the day that I left.

But a month or so, a couple months prior to that, I remember having a dream one night.

It was before the holidays, and I had a dream one night that I got out of bed, and I poured gasoline in the kids' bedrooms, and I poured it all through the house, and I...

picked my daughter up and I went to the front door and lit a match and I lit the house on fire and I slammed the door really quick and I locked it.

And I remember in my dream, I was scrambling to lock it really quick.

And I ran down the steps of our trailer and I had my baby and I was like, we're getting out of here.

It's just you and me, girl.

And I can hear it in my head to this day.

The kids were screaming, mama.

And like banging on the door.

And I just kept on running.

I never even turned around.

I didn't look.

But I remember the way the trees look in the trailer park.

They're like lit up with the fire behind me.

I can still picture.
