And she found that actually the couples who she studied, the ones who were egalitarian and split the labor equally and also valued that labor, because generally household labor and child care labor is quite devalued because it's so feminized.
But so when both parties really value that labor and value each other's contributions, those were the happiest couples that she examined.
So I think it goes to show that, you know,
people are happier when they actually divide this labor because it shows respect, it shows you value the other person, and it really, it takes away that resentment.
