Like I was a bit stiff going into the race.
Um, I've been for some great massages to loosen myself up, but I was still really tight.
So I had a really hard time going into my back jersey pockets.
Like I could do the right one where my phone is, but the other ones, like I had a terrible time.
So the musette bag was nice in that I didn't have to put anything in those pockets if I didn't want to.
I could throw the bag on.
and then reach into it.
Uh definitely working to increase my mobility here.
But um but yeah, it seems to be a good solution there.
Um yeah.
Other changes, ooh, I was gonna use I have a Koros computer now and I was gonna use my Koros watch as a backup to save weight on bringing a real backup computer and my coach PETA talked me out of it.
She was like, Do you really want to be navigating on a watch on a race?
Like, do you do you really think that's a great idea?
Have you tested it?
And I was like
No, but like you can runners do it.
She was like, Well, I think you should probably test it first and then really think hard if you think navigating on a watch for let's say your computer breaks on the second day of the tour divide is a good idea.
And uh yeah, I thought long and hard about it and I decided to bring a backup computer, but I'm gonna keep like practicing with the chorus because I do think that like maybe for a shorter event, um, it might be a
the fine backup and you know, I can navigate pretty well in it.
I could strap it to my bars or something.
