But I'm I'm happy she talked me out of it because I think that if I didn't bring my computer, I would have been anxious about what could happen like the whole way through
Mm-hmm.
Um, and and then having to be put to the test when, you know, you you haven't slept as well and your brain isn't functioning so well.
And, you know, of course I have the roots on my phone, but um you want something waterproof and weatherproof to be able to navigate on.
So
Um, yeah, and and I think like just like little things.
Like I don't like leg warmers and this time I brought leggings and they take up a little more room, but they feel like way better for me and I enjoyed wearing them a lot more.
And I actually ended up like tossing them out halfway through when I wasn't using them anymore.
And I was gonna mail them home, except I just didn't get to a post office when it was open.
So
I said goodbye to them and threw them in the trash.
Yeah, and I've been in that position for sure where I've emulated race leaders and like read their kit lists and been like, This is what I'm doing and uh and you learn stuff that way.
I will share the story about my socks.
Oh please.
Uh it's kind of funny.
So yeah, I I wanted to bring different socks for different purposes.
I um like my kind of light merino riding socks from Seven Mesh, my thick ankle socks, also wool for sleeping in to keep my toes cozy because I get cold feet at night, and then my waterproof socks for those like wet, gross, rainy days.
Um
And I started out with the waterproof socks.
And I guess I was gonna wear the light merino socks, but I decided like, oh, the weather's gross.
