And of course I lost reception like immediately.

Um and I couldn't help thinking to myself, like I guarantee you people booked the night before because there's just this yeah, yeah.

But like

And in and yeah, and I there's no way I could do like there's there's no way I would like allow myself to book a hotel the night before the race started.

That is I just I I I feel like that is yeah, it's inappropriate.

So I I was able to get one, like I think around Coco Claims I got service again.

So I was able to book a room.

And I think if we're all reading the rules and we're interpreting them a little bit differently, but we're sticking to our, you know, our own moral compasses, like things will probably pan out okay.

Like there's gonna be times where they don't line up.

But you know, I think as long as we're all like trying to make an effort and uh yeah, as long as we're all trying to make an effort, things will things will be okay.

Uh I was a little bit nervous about Lava Mountain.

Not super, but it's pretty like there's a lot of roots and rocks and things up there, and I knew a lot of it wasn't ridable because of the mud and snow.

So I I thought maybe it would be more rideable this year, but I also didn't want to ride it because it's kind of pushing me to the edge of my technical skills.

It was fine though, like I rode some, I walked some.

There was a bunch of down trees which slowed things down, but I actually kind of enjoy obstacles.

So um down trees are fine.

Some of the rougher descents.

Um, I was a little bit worried about the descent coming into steamboat, but then the route changed, so I didn't have to deal with that.

Um, it was just like lots of, you know, bigger rocks, baby heads and stuff that I I remember not feeling like great on.
