Um, but it was okay.

And uh

Yeah, I think, you know, in terms of bikepacking routes, it is it's more rideable than some of the other races.

So it's hard because it's long, but not because it's like technically challenging.

I definitely wasn't looking forward to the C D T sections uh in New Mexico.

I know you don't like those ones.

I know.

Yeah.

The first section was fine.

I slept about 10K from the start.

So I hit it just after dawn and I was really fresh.

And so I think I rode more of it.

Yeah, I also knew how long it would last.

So I was able to kind of just like keep moving.

The second one was on the way into Silver City and I got to that one after dark and it was really windy.

So I didn't ride much of it and I did feel a little bit scared up there.

I wasn't worried going into it though, because I had done it in 2024 in the early afternoon and I felt really good and it was, you know, full daylight.

So um so yeah, I wasn't expecting to find it as hard as I did, but yeah, it takes away the visibility, add some fatigue into my legs at the end of the day, and just didn't didn't go well for me.

And you could literally fall off a cliff.

So I uh yeah, definitely took it carefully and
