And that is so painful.

When that person, when that father is still on earth, breathing, alive, well, capable of picking up the phone, and that relationship isn't there, that is such a specific, under-discussed type of grief that is very painful and very important to talk about.

And I hope that you feel you are doing enough and have done enough.
Because I know often when we cope by kind of being the golden child and being the perfect- The overachievers.
Overachieving, nothing can feel like enough.
Our inner critic can be really challenging.
