I know you mentioned like sending it to your agent first, which I love as an agent myself.
Do you first work with critique partners, beta readers, and then send it to your agent?
Like what's your own process in terms of feedback?
No, I never do that.
And I feel like I'm the only person that I know who doesn't do that.
But I feel, I guess, super vulnerable.
I don't want, I know anyone that I would share it with would be
Completely great.
But I feel like it's still in its tender stage.
And I trust my agent so much and my editor.
And I feel like the longer I can keep it in that cone, I guess, without too many outside voices.
Oh, that's sort of always what I'm looking for.
I really admire people that will trade manuscripts and be so comfortable with it.
I've just never done that.
