even with insurance, cannot afford services.
Um so there are a few families that I've set aside grant funding for.
So we just received our second grant last week, um, which is huge.
Um, but with the grant funding set aside, I'm able to provide some services pro bono.
Um, for my families, I I mentioned there's a healthcare gap.
Our food insecurity rates are higher than the state and national averages, which I'm also very passionate about.
And that's another revenue stream, just to throw that out there.
Um
But um we have a very high concentration of families who are living under the poverty line.
And so I was very cautious when I started private pay.
Um, and so it started slow.
And as soon as we got credentialed with Medicaid, which is a process, but it's possible.
Um
That really changed the game for us.
And um I always tell families up front, my private practice specifically, others have, you know, other needs and things, but I never want finances to be a barrier.
for the services that I believe in that can help change their lives and create independence and and success.
Um, I firmly believe in what I do.
