to kinda give us a little extra cushion in tax stuff.

But really it was just a a few extra forms.

Um, but it it made the most sense for the way that we decided to run our business.

And as a solo practitioner, I have a board of directors behind me who helps me make these big decisions and who helps support me in writing documentation or, you know, our forms and things or coming up with processes or

um projects in clinic for painting um or things um and our marketing um with someone else on my board so

I would definitely say

Flexibility um is a huge one.

So I think

Um right after I joined the start program, like I was on it for two or three weeks, go, go, go, and I thought it was gonna open mid October.

And then at the beginning of October my parents unexpectedly became foster parents to one of my youth group kiddos.

Um and our lives completely changed.

Um, still are changing.

Um, and then at the end of December my grandma fell and fractured her skull um and is now no longer able to go home.

And so we transitioned her to a nursing home in January.

And I was able to move my schedule around to be able to provide at home care for my grandma when my mom needed to be at work.

I was able, I still am able to move my schedule around to help out with our foster kiddo.

Uh I get to go on vacations this summer.

I moved my schedule around and I get a day off in the middle of the week.
