I haven't.
Um well, I I loved the idea of something
forcing the characters to face themselves in a really uncomfortable, really
brutal and and blunt kind of way.
Um, 'cause it's just like the most shoehorned character development.
It's like you will develop.
But I, you know, thought, okay, maybe I can assign each of these characters a sin and make
like a level of hell and then make their bad thing and the thing they have to develop from relevant to the sin that they are assigned.
There's a lot of layers of hell and there's a lot of sins and that would be a lot of characters that I would have to deal with.
And so a few of them
There were characters that uh didn't make it to the final cut.
um that got amalgamed into characters that are there.
Um so it started with me just wanting to make the most depressing characters ever and then um thinking of how I could
structure the cast.
by using Dante's Inferno and then um
you know, the idea of descending into hell, descending further into this cave.
Um and each person is a sin.
Um Karao is someone who is fully a blank slate and that is one of her biggest defining features.
And I I think
A a beastie that forces you to confront the truth of yourself to a person who doesn't know who she is truly is about as confusing as it can get.
