I think that money always equated stability and security in my family.
And I would say that like most households, my parents had different ideas around what was the right thing to do with money, especially when it comes to doing like the smart, wise, responsible thing.
And I would also say that I think in as in most families, we have financial figures that are
Really important and influential for us.
For me, my paternal grandmother was a huge financial role model for me.
And it's actually taken some time to really sauce out what I wanted to move forward with from what she's taught me and what I wanted to leave behind.
Um, because she had very strong opinions on debt.
Um, she had very strong opinions on investing, she had very strong opinions on spending, which worked out really, really well for her and what she wanted money to look and feel like for her.

Oh yeah, totally.
I mean, I remember there were moments when my parents were in debt and they had to ask for a loan.
And just the way that she received that, the way that she talked to them about she she saw that as being very irresponsible of them.
And so she had very, very strong opinions about that.
And so I remember those memories very, very clearly.
But also going to her house, I remember she had this big old legend.

And she was the one that kept all the numbers, all the accounts.
And so she was modeling at a very young age just the importance of knowing your numbers, of keeping track of everything.
