I mean, they're still one of the top one scoring teams in the majors.
And I understand, you know, fans concerns that, you know, the offense can go from scoring runs in bunches to struggling to score.
But like most teams still can't put output that amount of offense, you know, if you don't have a good offense.
And so I think part of it is, you know, it's just kind of the ebbs and flows of the season.
Lineups are going to go through that.
I still think generally speaking, like they've had a pretty solid season.
I mean, thinking about the game in St.
Louis, you know, where Boyd had seven shutout and, you know, they had a chance to win it despite having one hit through nine innings going into extra innings.
And so, you know, most teams might not be able to potentially pull out a win there.
And so.
I think there's two sides of it.
There's going to be times that the offense is going to bail out their pitchers, and there's going to be times where I think for the most part when they face tough pitching, they make it hard on opposing starters no matter how many runs are ultimately scored.
And so I think that is something that over the course of a series can end up stacking up when a team might have to be going into their bullpen sooner than they want.
Yeah, I think it's something that is just kind of a mentality largely for starting pitchers.
Like, you know, there's going to be days that they know that, you know, they're not going to be at their best and they end up getting bailed out by the offense.
And so I think it's just kind of the mentality they have that of like, you know, if I didn't allow that home run, you know, the outcome's different regardless of what the offense does.
So I totally understand that.
And I honestly think it's,
a reflection of, you know, a starting pitcher wanting to be accountable to their own performance, regardless of what the rest of the team does.
And so I think it's commendable in that respect.
