at everything I was trying to do.
And then I think I had this guilt around this just popped into my head.
You know, I felt guilty about adopting a second dog.

That, like, who are you if you don't have the time and energy to be the kind of parent you want to be?
whether to your human child or your dog child, why are you trying to bring more of those beings into your life?

I think the level of discomfort that I had did prompt me to think like, okay, I need to do things differently.
The first thing that I did do was rehome the dog, which was painful and awful, but it needed to happen.
So that happened actually not too much longer after.
But from a career perspective, it took me a long time.
I think actually I ended up getting pregnant with my twins, I think about a year after this.
