So I actually used it on MSNBC while I was there when I did a long monologue explaining the case for and against genocide.
I have since come to the conclusion, as many have, especially post the South African case of the ICJ and the evidence that was brought there, that this is a genocide, that Israeli actions in Gaza meet the criteria for genocide as laid out by the Genocide Convention.
And I think what's happened, two things, Don.
In previous genocides,
We've had to wait till it's over to make that adjudication.
We've had to go through the documentation and see what orders were given and dig deep to find the, you know, that missing document where the leader in charge said, you know, kill them or remove them or ethnically cleanse them.
In this one, they're saying it out loud.
They're saying it openly.
The South African case was built on multiple pages, Don, of Israeli ministers and officials saying, wipe them out, burn Gaza to the ground.
Let's do a Nakba, ethnic cleansing again.
They're like Amalek.
We need to destroy them.
They're like animals.
We need to cut off power.
All of those quotes, we go on all day.
Where the genocidal intent is out in the open, one minister talking about nuking Gaza on a couple of occasions, Netanyahu just suspended him for a day.
So the intent is out there.
The actions are out there.
And the other thing I would say is we hold Israel to a higher bar than any other country.
This administration, the Biden administration, Don, as you know, you've covered it, called Ukraine, what's happening in Ukraine, a genocide.
