It's a very bizarre conversation to see a United States senator on a phone call with the prime minister of a foreign country discussing how they're gonna pressure a president on foreign policy.
I think his role in American politics is malign.
I think a lot of Republicans understand that.
Did you see the poll, Piers, that a plurality of Americans would like to see Netanyahu arrested, including one in three Republicans?
So interestingly enough, Mandani actually speaks for more Americans than his critics do.
There's also a poll showing that American Jews prefer Zoran Mamdani to both Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
So a lot of the noise doesn't really reflect public opinion.
