I think the best advice that anybody can receive when they're first starting out is to just go for it.
One of the hardest things to do is to trust that the information that you're receiving is truly real or is truly psychic information or intuitive information.
And I tell people all the time, if you're reading for somebody else, it has nothing to do with you.
have to get out of your own way long enough to just give them the message.
You know, when I do reading, the information that comes through is sometimes just crazy to me.
It's bizarre.
But it may mean absolutely nothing to me, but it means everything in the world to the person that I'm reading for.
Take, for example, I just did a book event at Barnes & Noble, and I did kind of a mini-workshop.
And at the end, I said, you know, does anybody have any questions?
And they were all kind of like, we wanted to be respectful and not ask you if you see our dead people around
And I said, you know, go ahead and ask me.
Like, you know, this is what I do.
And so I was reading for somebody and all of a sudden I got interrupted because I kept hearing the word sour cream and I kept tasting sour cream.
And so I said, you know, this is kind of weird, but what's with the sour cream?
And everybody kind of looked at me like I was crazy.
And they said, we have no idea.
And I said, I'm sorry, but I know it's weird, but I just keep getting sour cream.
I'm tasting it and I'm hearing it.
And they're like, no, no, no.
And, you know, three minutes later when the event was over and everybody was having their books signed, somebody came up to me and said, you know, I didn't realize it until afterwards after you closed down the workshop that my granddaughter just died eight weeks ago.
