It's it has been so incredible.
Um, if you had told me that after the trade deadline, and as a lot of people knew, the Orioles ended up being sellers, that a group of guys who had very minimal if zero play or major league experience and they would be taking series over Mariners, Astros, Red Sox, Dodgers, and and like you said, um, those four consecutive walk-off wins.
um they're just having fun, you know.
And I I think that's the beauty of baseball.
After being in the minors for so long, you start to learn to appreciate the weird stuff like that and that it does get a little ugly.
And you know, Joe Madden was the king of embrace the suck.
And uh they're doing a really good job at that.
Yeah, I I mean I think this goes for any athlete of any sport, but they're aware, first of all, that this is always an audition, not just to show up for your team next year, but for the other twenty nine that are in the league, right?
You're not gonna go out and mail it in.
Um, otherwise you probably didn't make it to the major league level.
That's the difference, is you get those athletes that have that killer instinct.
And what goes with that and showing up for yourself is showing up for your team.
And I thought Ryan O'Hearn said it best when they were in the middle of their scuffles before they ultimately traded him was we show up every day expecting to win.
It doesn't matter who we're playing.
Like that's kind of a a loser mentality that doesn't have space to exist as a
professional athlete of just automatically being dejected and you know it's not in the cards for us today.
Um and you I think we've learned a lot watching that.
And what I think is also so great is
