I mean, they can give up a couple runs.
They can have some big problems.
He is the most loud guy walking in that dugout, immediately letting them know, like, hey, it's time to get it together.
Let's go get it back here.
If a guy makes an error on the field, he's waiting at the top step at the end of that inning to talk to that guy, to give him a pat on the back before the coaches talk to him as well.
It's been incredibly transformational to watch
what he has done so far.
And honestly, the guys finally seen those younger guys seem like they are not timid in who they are.
And that is the first time I can say this.
Since I joined the club in 2020, there was always this hesitation to just be comfortable and being yourself and everything that comes with that.
You know, they're a little louder now.
The personalities are starting to come out.
It's that settled group that we do see with like the Jays, the Phillies, you know, people who are aware of what they're doing, but they're also confident that they're big leaguers.
And Craig Albernaz has embraced this group top to bottom.
I think you could not find a better guy for first year.
That is rough.
I think it's a little tough to go, okay, first year manager, whole new staff, giant change in the roster.
They're going to go to the World Series.
But that being said, the way that he cares and is emotionally invested in each of them, it's genuine.
He over-communicates.
