And just remember that that line from a movie
might be their way of communicating something deeper.
And it's our job to listen.
So instead of trying to, you know, what if all this time we've been trying to quiet the words of these kids when these are actually the words we needed to hear the most?
Really powerful to think about and our role as professionals and seeing through their eyes and seeing into their world and presuming competence, validating, and using a strengths-based approach.
