I think more than anything, this is an indication to voters because I think a lot of people are looking at the system and looking at the economy and are feeling, you know, just the loss of faith that things could change.
And, you know, just just giving in and feeling despondent.
And this is evidence that what we're doing is working.
You know, the fight that we are putting forward, the movement that we are building, not just here in Denver.
You know, I had the honor of also hosting Representative Justin Pearson from Memphis, Tennessee, and Representative Donovan McKinney from Detroit, Michigan, here in Denver for the rally as well.
This fight that we are taking for our district is the same fight that we're seeing across the entire country.
And it's about bringing back power to working people.
And so to know that we have billionaires like Phil Anschutz that are afraid of what we're building, that's a testament to how close we are to actually delivering real relief for working families and delivering power back to the people.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I love this question because I get to brag about my team and all of our supporters and everything.
You know, we started this race over 11 months ago.
It was me and my friend and this crazy idea of taking on a 30 year incumbent and the establishment that backs her.
And we started where I think democracy is supposed to start every time.
And that's with meeting the voters where they're at.
And so we were in coffee shops, we were in bars, we were in restaurants, we were in bookstores, we were in parks all across the city talking to our neighbors and talking about the issues that matter most to them.
But more importantly, what kind of world did they want to live in?
What kind of country did they want to live in and what kind of leadership did they want to see from their elected representatives?
and building out a campaign based on those promises, based on those ideas, based on those values.
And for every single person we spoke with, they spoke with their coworkers, they spoke with their family members, their friends.
And I think what we are seeing right now is that we've reached a critical mass now here in Denver, where everybody is finally catching on to the fact that there is a real challenger in this race and that we don't have to settle for another term, a 16th term from a do nothing corporate backed establishment Democrat.
