And meeting voters where they're at and answering those questions and making myself available.
Because at the end of the day, your job as a candidate, your job in running a campaign is to make a case and to earn the trust of voters so that they can put their faith in you at the ballot box and send you into the halls of power so that you can fight for them.
And so it took a long time for us to build a kind of infrastructure to now where we have
over 8,000 individual donors.
We have over 1,000 volunteers.
We are knocking on thousands of doors every single week in this city.
We're going to hit 100,000 doors by the end of this campaign.
What we're building is going to outlast this race.
It's going to outlast this campaign.
And that's what I set out to do from the very beginning, because it's not just about one candidate.
It's not just about one campaign.
The movement that we are building right now has to be able to transfer over to every other
different race that's happening across the city to every mutual aid opportunity that's available in the city, we have to be standing united as working people against this oligarchy, because that's what it is right we're not in a democracy, or this is an oligarchy, and every single person.
that is working for a wage or working for a salary you're in this with us and making that case to every single voter who's in that position so that they know that it doesn't have to be this hard and it shouldn't have to be this hard and if only we elect the kind of representation that understands that and is going to be unafraid to actually fight for the legislation that we need to change that that's going to be when things change and that's what we're building here in denver
