Probably the fact you're in the same area would be one.

Yeah, that's such a good point to see them in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable because then if you observe them there and then you observe them at school, which is a huge change, and they are all of a sudden quite different to what you've observed elsewhere, you have that knowledge, right, which you might not otherwise if you had the opportunity to do that.

But as you say, there are so many centres and it would be impossible for all schools to do that with all centres.

You're head of year zero and year one there, but I understand you have a new entrant class at the moment yourself.

I do.

And I've actually, your school's parent information evening was the first I went to before even my kids had started school.

I was that eager beaver and thank you for inviting me along.

So I know a little bit about the diversity there too.

When you talk about the diversity of culture, it makes me think then that feeling of culture and belonging as you move from one school to another is a real benefit of the collaboration, clearly.

But also the neurodivergent children, because one to another will have...

very different kinds of needs and support, right?

So I can only imagine that's crucial to be able to pass that information on and really start kind of humming, not having to figure that out.

Yeah, and often, I don't know, this might be a generalisation, but a lot of families, I think you look at the ECEs in your area and you go and visit and you think, what one have I got a really good vibe from?

And then when it comes to primary school, it's like the one you're in zone four.
