What's wrong with telling a kid that maybe they didn't do as well as they should have or it wasn't their best or, you know, being a little more tough?

I know that people who are listening to this podcast will be people who are interested in doing that and probably are already doing that, but...

don't you think families should take that on a bit more as their own responsibility rather than teachers and schools having to feel that they are teaching those social skills?

Are you saying that there is, we know more about social emotional skills and how to equip children with that from research and that yes, as parents and as families, there is an onus on us to equip our kids with that, but actually there is a specific skill as well that some people are trained in

that can offer this to children through curriculum and through school because it is so interwoven with good learning.
