I have been the parent that has gone, especially because I've spoken to so many educators like yourself who say, we really want to hear from you, but then also say, we are so busy.
So I've been like, oh, I really want to go and have this conversation, but I don't want to bother them.
I don't want to take up their time.
And I was so nervous and anxious about it.
And then I went and had the conversation.
And of course it was very well received.
And it has led to some...
you know, amazing communication between us all and things that can really help our understanding and our children as well.
So I think there was a lesson for me there that
Yes, you are all busy, but actually there is so much capacity there for still helping because that's ultimately what you're all doing it for.
Is that hard for you?
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Do you think, oh gosh, I hope they, uh, they're not worried that here's comes the principal asking.
Yeah, yeah.
But as you say, every family operates differently, and they prioritize spending time together differently because their lives look different.
Yep.
And yeah, so just because you do something one way doesn't mean another family does.
But busy and difficult are the two words I will try and stop saying as a result of chatting with you, Blair.
